Brett, is an excellent dog trainer. All my questions are answered in a comprehensive manner. Having worked with dog trainers in the past, I immediately could see his level of understanding dogs. I purchased Brady from Brett and I'm very pleased with Brady's training and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of dog training from obedience to personal protection. I continue with Brady's training with Brett and see the results right away after every session.

Brett is amazing. He responded to me quickly and answered all my questions. Brett followed through with everything he said he would do and more. He knows what he is doing with training dogs. Never in my life did I expect to own such a well behaved obedient dog! Brett my wife and I want to thank you for the addition to our family.

Training with Brett and his dog Native has been a very rewarding experience. Brett listened to my concerns, understood what I wanted to work on, and developed a plan of action to help me with my dog Vida (a two and a half year old lab/boxer mix). After one session, Brett quickly saw what was going on (mainly that I wasn't correcting her) and helped me to realize that my approach was not setting either of us up for success or for an enjoyable relationship with each other. Vida is my first dog and I confused showing her love and affection with allowing her to get away with bad behavior on walks. I also allowed her to be in charge of me instead of the other way around. During training sessions, it felt at times like Brett was giving me pep talks to discipline Vida (and showing me how to do it too), but it was what I needed to push me to step up and correct her every time she exhibited behaviors I didn't like. I can say that after four sessions, Brett completely changed the relationship and the dynamic between me and Vida. Now, instead of Vida leading me on walks and being leash aggressive toward other dogs, I have much more confidence walking her and she knows that I will not tolerate bad behavior. She no longer pulls and her aggressiveness toward other dogs has decreased considerably due to Brett constantly putting us both in high traffic, high distraction, high other dog walking areas. She is more in tune with me and listens to commands even with other distractions around. She is no longer in her own world when we walk together and our walks are much more pleasant. I look forward to them now instead of dreading them. I will continue to use Brett to take her training to new levels. Ultimately, I would like to be able to walk her off leash.

I first met Brett with my American Bulldog Gaia. I wanted a well trained puppy that did not pull on the leash & would be obedient. Well I got that with Brett! She walks off leash, listens to commands & even poses for pictures.
I would definitely recommend Brett & when I get my next puppy it will receive the advanced obedience training as well!

Buying a Golden retriever from Native k9 was one of the best decisions we ever made.
We could not be happier with the addition of our beautiful Golden Retriever, Laura, She is the sweetest, most loving, eager to please, adorable puppy. We could never have imagined having a better puppy than her. And, I’m sure that her good behavior has everything to do with the training that she had with Brett. She is loving, great with kids, athletic, patient, obedient, calm and playful. She is so comfortable in every situation thanks to him exposing her to so many different circumstances in daily life.
